Yeah I remember. I still have things about that I'm still dealing with. [Mostly the guilt which has lead to being a tiny bit more reckless. She is aware it's a thing, but chooses to not really confront it or deal with it. It's fine.]

Is this going to lead into a make sure it doesn't happen again?

[She fidgeted a little with something off the screen, smiling to herself. There was a little playful look in her eye when the third of them glanced in the direction of the screen. Her grin widened very slightly.]

I don't know if you had plans already, and we both know that we can't be sure what's going to happen in October, but... I'd like to reserve some of the 22nd. So I can do something special.

[Oh, she could surprise her on her birthday, and she fully planned to make sure this was at least a little surprising, but she knew better than to just assume with birthdays anymore. Nope, she was just going to lay a little claim in advance in the hopes she could get away with making sure someone's 19th birthday didn't suck half as much as her 18th had.]

But you want to do something special, huh? I'd like that. It couldn't be as bad as what happened last year.

[She giggled again and tilted her head just a little.]

Let's not invite disaster too much, but I don't think you're wrong. It won't be as bad as last year. I'll make sure of it. If I have my way, I'll definitely try to make it a good day to remember in the midst of all that October in Trench has to offer us.

[She winked. Admittedly? She did know exactly what had happened last year, considering that she and Serenity had had a run in at the time and she'd barely gotten out with her life. And, she was sure that there might be concerns of a repeat. She wasn't going to worry, though. The Senshi could handle it, and they already knew there was peril.

Besides, she wanted to focus on something fun for the birthday occasion. October had been pretty rotten all around last year.]

I try not to invite it. It just invites itself.

[She chuckled because it was said as a joke, but at the same time was it really?]

Either way it's just best to try and make the most of it. Try and keep positive no matter what. I'll even do something if I have to. Maybe something performance related.

[Vira-Lorr sent a short message saying that she'd be coming by tonight and made her way over to Minako's place. Sure, hers was nice, but it was good to go to her girlfriend's place too sometimes. She had under one arm a nice little floral arrangement that Makoto had worked up for her, along with a box of chocolates...

chocolates that she had bought at a regular store because she didn't trust that weird thing or magic chocolates you could get. Nope, not after the last time. Just normal little chocolates for a normal occasion to chat, so things didn't get confusing. Knocking at the door, she smiled to herself as she thought about what she wanted to talk with Minako about for the tenth time tonight.]

[Minako had tried her best to make her place look clean and tidy, but it was Minako and chores were never fun. So it was a tiny bit of a mess. Nothing too big, unless you count the mess covering most of the floor a tiny bit.

When she heard the knock on the door she started to rush over to answer it, managing to avoid tripping over the rubbish.]

Hey, welcome. Sorry it's a bit of a mess.

[She blinked once when Minako was turned around, glancing around and smiling away. Oh yes, they usually came to her place didn't they? Oh my. Well, that was just a reminder that perhaps they'd want to figure out how to share chores, the more serious they got wouldn't they? For just a moment, though, Vira-Lorr was a little mournful that she could not float like she used to.

Nudging some clothes out of the way and closing the door, she grinned over at her girlfriend and set the box of chocolates on the table, while offering the bouquet over and winking.]

This world does not lend itself to being entirely clean does it? I find I'm almost constantly cleaning up after myself at times. Have you been doing alright this month? I... had something I wanted to talk to you about that I'd heard from the natives recently.

[She focused on her girlfriend as she talked, which helped ignore the mess. there, out of sight, out of mind.]

(OOC: I'm going to assume that the result for this purpose is that Vira-Lorr was subdued until she could be treated and out of commission for at least a week recovering. That fits the three action threads that are going.)

[Vira-Lorr's voice sounded awful. It was still scratchy because the kind of shrieking she had been doing had been very much not what a humanoid throat was meant to do. The sounds were of someone resting on a couch or bed somewhere. She'd been trying to recover, slowly, avoiding going outside anywhere near the butterflies since the incident.]

Ngh... Minako. Are you doing alright? I'm... very sorry about what happened. I just need to know that you're ok.

[She really wasn't sure how to actually broach this. It had been a while since she'd been the one who went crazy in her life.]

[Minako herself had just been trying to do the things she would normally be doing, which mostly consisted of probably spending a lot of time with friends. Better to really focus on things all things considering.]

I'm doing fine, not like I was actually hurt or anything.

[Vira-Lorr shifted and eased back, up against the arm of her couch while she talked, coughing once and taking a sip of something, probably something soothing. She breathed in once, carefully, and then sighed.]

I'm just glad that you're safe, that nobody's really hurt. It could have gone very differently, and I feel horrible. But you were the one in danger, and I'm glad that ... but... I don't like what I did all the same.
